The first assignment we received as a class was taking an image and a work, and work with the two making a successful final work in photoshop. The goal was to have a vital connection between the word and image whether it be irony, opposites, or anything of that nature. I chose an outdoor setting with a dream catcher which to me, conveyed a sense of freedom and open space. The word I chose was 'Suffocation' and I went with the ironic angle. Its ironic that the word 'Suffication' is ironically placed in an outdoor open spaced scene. If a person was living in that the scene, the last feeling they would have would be suffocation.
